Hong Yuan: Reviews & Ratings
Best flavor Chinese noodles restaurant in north Dallas, the beef roll pancake and seafood tofu soup is perfect good, tasteful and authentic. 4 stars for pork dumplings, soup noodles, popcorn chicken, chives box, fry mochi with brown sugar syrup. They offer high quality food, but might be too busy, they don't offer good service. I will still return because their flavourful dishes.
We eat at a lot of noodle restaurants and somehow missed Hongyuan dumplings & noodles. When we arrived there was already a long line building, but fortunately my wife came earlier and was able to get a table for our party of 7. We tried a variety of dishes and the prices are actually slightly better than another Chinese restaurant close-by and the portions are larger too. The staff was helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be back with the extended family to try out more.
Incredible food with generous serving sizes. The salt and pepper fish was crispy, not spicy at all, and very flavorful. There were probably 16 pieces of fish. The Shanghai noodles were a little spicy and flavored a little like curry. The spicy pork wontons were very flavorful, not too spicy either.
their cabbage & pork dumplings are pretty authentic and delicious! Their marriage beef can be sliced a bit thinner piece with some more tendon and chili sauce with more green peppers so the flavor will be better! I love their mapo toufu particularly.
I've been going here for years now, since not long after they opened. The best hand pulled noodles are here, by a long shot. Every dish I've had has been excellent. And the dumplings are some of the best in the area. Give them a visit, you'll be happy you did.
This place never misses and always satisfies the noodle craving. Food usually arrives quick and portion sizes are generous. They have the best Xiao Long Bao in the DFW area in my opinion. A staple in our Chinese food rotation. Edit: if you come here on a weekend, expect to wait 15-20 minutes for a seat and 20+ minutes to get your food.
Went to go try this place out for our anniversary. Everything was delicious, down to the fried rice. The chili sauce they used for the beef and intestines and pig ear dishes were not too overpowering with szechuan, and you can always add more with their condiments. The soup dumplings were the best I've had, even better than Dragon House. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the scallion pancake. I've had better in Houston so I had high expectations.
We got the beef stir fried noodles, stir fried green beans, beef roll pancakes, and a pork xiao long bao. Food was pretty good. The beef roll pancakes were delicious and seemed like a very popular item. The pork XLB were very juicy. The stir fried green beans had a little spicy kick to it, but wasn’t too bad. The beef stir fried noodles was a bit too salty for me, but still pretty good.
